New speaker on Canada's hydrogen hunt
Canada has entered the global natural hydrogen hunt and one of their foremost experts will be a keynote speaker at the Australian Natural Hydrogen Conference.
Held in the Adelaide Hills wine region of South Australia in just over a month, conference organisers are happy to welcome aboard Kim Picard as one of the feature speakers. She is the Geological Survey Canada’s Calgary division Executive Director.
She is responsible for developing and delivering the national GeoEnergy program, focused on emerging energy sources, including geothermal and natural hydrogen, CO2 and energy storage, and foundational products to support Canada’s energy transition.
Kim has worked for three international geological surveys (Canada, Norway and Australia) where she has occupied technical and leadership roles and has sailed on more than 30 multi-disciplinary expeditions around the globe.
Meanwhile, the latest sponsor to confirm their involvement is Oceania Geo Seismic, who will be a Bronze sponsor of the conference.
Oceania Geo Seismic specialises in tailored low-impact, high-tech seismic surveys. They have efficient, safe, and cost-effective solutions for natural hydrogen exploration.
With the conference opening barely five weeks away, time is getting short to secure your tickets. You can purchase here, while the full program is available here.
