Natural hydrogen’s most important year
One of the world’s most respected business broadcasters – American channel CNBC – says 2025 is a pivotal year for natural hydrogen exploration.
It’s another reason you should attend the second Australian Natural Hydrogen Conference, in the world-renowned Adelaide Hills wine region of South Australia from October 21-23.
CNBC says venture capitalists, and big mining and oil companies are putting their money behind exploration plans.
Minh Khoi Le, head of hydrogen research at Rystad Energy, says in the article: "Now, we are starting to see companies getting investment, so they have money to fund their drilling campaigns. So, if we are to get an answer of whether this thing will work, we'll get to that conclusion a bit faster this year," Le said.
He’s on the money. Just this week Australian-based HyTerra confirmed high hydrogen levels in one of its first wells in Kansas, US.
Our conference promises to have some of the answers, as results from latest drilling campaigns come in and technical advances in exploration programs and new scientific findings are shared.
Tickets to the conference are on sale now and there will be further announcements on the agenda and keynote speakers in the coming weeks.
The call for abstracts is also open until June 30 and proposals should be emailed to: conference@nh2a.com.au.
